Local Colour

Okay, so I have submitted it. I called this piece ‘Local Colour’ and it is 27 x 30cm. Things I have learned from this experience –

1. Stonehenge paper is lovely but not the best fit with the way I work.

2. I will NEVER do a grid and outline sketch straight onto my working support again. I don’t know why I did it this time as I never have before but it was a mistake.

3. Polychromos do not like Stonehenge paper – at least, the way I work.

4. I hope I never have to draw bike tyres again.
